At Vitafoods Europe, Nexira will showcase its latest innovations in weight management, beauty-from-within, women’s health, and the gut microbiome. The company will also feature new evidence from clinical studies on its ingredients, fueling next-generation health and nutrition products.

The company will have three “pitch and coffee” sessions, where it will explore each of the three trends, business opportunities, and product development.

The GLP-1 Collection

The company’s ingredient Carolean is evidenced to support the natural secretion of GLP-1 and help to control appetite. Other botanicals in the GLP-1 collection can further support healthy weight management and alleviate discomfort associated with the use of GLP-1 medications, according to the company.

On May 20, at 11:00 a.m., Carla Rodenas, analyst at Innova Market Insights, and Leslie Lannebere, global health marketing lead at Nexira, will hold the session, “GLP-1 is coming to Europe. Are you ready?”

Women’s Health and Beauty from Within

The company will highlight the beauty and women’s health benefits of Oli-Ola, an olive extract standardized in polyphenols, which exhibits antioxidant effects to support healthy aging. Clinical studies have linked supplementation to skin elasticity, reduced water loss, and melasma improvement. Nutrigenomic analysis suggests that the ingredient may activate antioxidant genes for long-term skin health benefits.

On May 21, at 11:00 a.m., Caroline Jourdain, technical support manager, and Stefan-Emil Sitaru, international area manager, will hold the session “Aging gracefully with Oli-Ola, Nexira’s Mediterranean treasure.”

Nexira will also showcase Exocyan, a line of cranberry extracts produced in France which are evidenced to support urinary comfort and overall quality of life in women.

Microbiome and Precision Prebiotics

The company’s prebiotic fibers, Inavea and Fibregum, can offer tailored gut helaht support. They are suitable to be paired with probiotics or optimized for high solubility in stick packs, and come in organic and carbon-neutral varieties.
